Henry Schein Dental
This shoot took me to one of my favorite cities in the US: Chattanooga, Tennessee. Henry Schein designed the office of Rodriguez Family Dentistry from the floor plans up and hired me to show off their work. They did both the interior design and the equipment/ technology aspects of the office and wanted to highlight both. They asked for a lot of depth of field, even lighting, and a mix of posed and faux candid shots. It was a half day shoot using the staff as models.
Here’s Dr. Maricela Rodriguez and her staff. Due to space constraints and the goal of even lighting I used two 300w strobes with umbrellas. Dr. Rodriguez and everyone else were great to work with and were really patient and cooperative.
The blue cabinet in that first photo is an example of the custom design elements HS wanted to highlight.
Here’s the break room/ conference room. The first photo is everyone pretending to be participating in a continuing education/ briefing while Dr. Rodriguez actually described what she cooked for Thanksgiving.
I used the Canon R5 exclusively for this shoot. Because it was a half day and there were several rooms to cover choosing the efficiency and reliability of the R5 was an easy choice.
The technology in this office is all state of the art and very impressive. Hopefully I’ll never need a crown in my life but it’s nice to know how far things have advanced and that it’s a often a one and done experience today. If you made it to the end then I hope you had a Merry Christmas/ Hanukkah and have a happy New Year coming up.
